If you want to enjoy a unique atmosphere in Sanl\u00facar de Barrameda with the most illustrious wines of the land, do not hesitate to go to the Despacho de vinos Las Palomas. Pepe, its founder and owner, brought in 2008 the Tabanco Jerezano to Sanl\u00facar de Barrameda, which mixes the social concept of the tavern and the commercial vocation of “despacho de vinos”, to promote the manzanilla from Sanl\u00facar de Barrameda. It has been the first Manzanilla Bar, it used to be a wine cellar and it keeps the barrels that contain the wine that is dispatched in the premises and can be bought by bottles. At the beginning, only cold tapas were served, then came the montaditos (sandwiches), and now it has a menu with countless options for all tastes. The wines you can taste are carefully selected by Pepe, who has an excellent taste thanks to the oenological passion he has been cultivating for decades. The typical dishes of Sanl\u00facar’s cuisine also contribute their uniqueness, because the Despacho de vinos Las Palomas combines the authentic taste of a tavern with the innovation that we demand today, it is a bodega bar restaurant.<\/p>

Today, in the Despacho de vinos Las Palomas you will find a wide selection of wines from Sanl\u00facar and another range of red wines from C\u00e1diz and abroad. Highlights include the 1822 Amontillado<\/em>, the Manzanillas La E and Aurora<\/em>, Pedro Xim\u00e9nez en Rama Bodegas Yuste<\/em>, the Oloroso-based barrel Vermouth<\/em>, made from 28 different plants, and the Vermouth<\/em> made in manzanilla casks.<\/p>

Regarding the food, the menu of Despacho de vinos Las Palomas will not leave you indifferent with respect to its varied offer, most of them are typical dishes from Sanl\u00facar with its own touch, every day they have a new stew: menudo de choco, arroz a la marinera, fideu\u00e1, cabbage, fried bread, dogfish with tomato and in veranillo<\/em>…. And if you like montaditos, this is the best place to try surprising combinations that are delicious, such as the montadito Las Palomas<\/em> (pigeon, ham, cheese and Iberian loin steak). Some highly demanded dishes are the Tuna in sauce<\/em>, which is special because it is cooked and seasoned with onion, parsley and Modena vinegar, in other places it is usually larded or encebollado, Sea bass croquettes<\/em>, Payoyo cheese with cabello de \u00e1ngel<\/em>, Iberian ham tapa with warm bread and olive oil<\/em>…. The prawns and shrimps are also of excellent quality, all the raw material is bought in the square.<\/p>

The beers they work with are Estrella Galicia and 1906.<\/p>

The prices are around the average, most of the tapas are at 2,50 \u20ac and the montaditos at 3,00 \u20ac. The service stands out for its friendliness and education, Pepe and his daughter \u00c1ngela lead a staff of professional waiters who serve customers very well.<\/p>

In the Despacho de vinos Las Palomas the atmosphere is very pleasant both inside and on the terrace, where the views of the market and the beginning of the Barrio Alto take you to a place where time has stopped. Pepe and his daughter Angela have managed to give life and color to an old winery Yuste, both are accompanied by the same spirit of work, innovating and growing to adapt to demand at any time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
